Is there a more overrated band
Seethe.
t. Anal-pained metalfaggot.
nobody would even remember them if he was killed by courtney
never heard of them
metals for even bigger gay emos than nirvana
Nope. Only teenagers who feel they were "born in the wrong generation" idolize these faggots.
Yeah, U2.
meteaklica
Having over a billion views is pretty neat tho
>Only teenagers who feel they were "born in the wrong generation" idolize these faggots.
Nope, wrong generation fags idolize 70s and 80s hair metal shit. Nirvana/alt rock/other Gen X music is for either those who were there when it happened, or the few younger people with actual taste.
U2 rules.
Nirvana sucked. I bought two of their records back in the 90's, but I wasn't too impressed.
>those who were there when it happened
This. Just leave it in the past.
U2 is Chad musique. Nirvana is söy as shit.
Oasis
U2
Just to start a list
I honestly wonder what it was like listening to nevermind when it came out. I imagine that it was something similar to is this it but in a much bigger scale.
The fact
being a whiteoid normie is low test as fuck
Can
Death Grips
If we are counting rappers then Kanye West can be added
coldplay is bottom tier white music change my mind atleast nirvana had talent with kurt
Radiohead, the Beatles the list goes on
I agree
Why? Some of us really enjoy the 90s period of rock music. A unique time when rock music still had bite and energy, but it also had experimentation and innovation.
The 80s were too stale, endless rehashes of hair metal, glam rock and thrash metal over and over and over again. The 00s/10s were once again too stale, this time with that "post-punk revival" garbage and the emergence of "indie rock that isn't really indie", basically the softest possible definition of "rock" music you could think of.
The 90s were just right. It wasn't "Rock with a capital R" so to speak, it was just guitar music made with a punk ethos and a vision to experiment and innovate that the previous decade mostly did not have. And the 90s alternative bands knew when to be soft, when to be heavy, when to combine the two, but never sticking to just one. Nirvana weren't the best of their generation, not by far, but you HAVE to give them credit for ushering away the utter self-indulgent bullshit that was mainstream rock music pre-91.
Yes, Pink Floyd and all the other prog dinosaur bands
kurt was a pretty shit musician. he couldn't play his own songs in the studio and made a shiton of mistakes playing live. any guy in coldplay is probably a better musician than kurt. that said, kurt had better taste.
>or the few younger people with actual taste.
stfu self affected depressed zoomer
Definitely agree. Some metal in the 80s were at their peak of the genre as the popular music was overused synthesizers and sustained drumbeats that I completely despise. The 90s killed the pussy shit and became more gritty/darker for the advancements of society.
U2, The Smiths, The Doors
as much as I love Can, this is probably true. All of Krautrock is amazing and Can just gets most the credit
>he couldn't play his own songs in the studio
wat
>he couldn't play his own songs in the studio
Wrong
Yes.
the noise rock influence makes nirvana way better and more interesting than a lot of other overrated bands
listen to endless, nameless
