I've never understood all of the hate Limp Bizkit gets. They're a consistently great band who have never made a single bad album.

U guys serious? How old are you? I was a Freshman in High School when 3 Dollar Bill was released and I loved it, but I can't imagine liking that shit if I heard it for the first time as an adult.

i think it has to do with the way the media in their time of fame perceived their image and activities to be controversial.
once everyone got used to it, they just became kind of a lame joke.

anyway OP, I agree with you

Yes, it's a great album.

i bet you their albums would be much more timeless, and better in terms of today's standards if the guitars were produced differently - less phaser, compression and chorus effects

Yas Forums loves limp bizkit, fuck outta here

Its decent until you hear way better nu metal albums like Science and Around the Fur

I think their problems are much bigger than that lol.

Around the Fur is one of the few albums I used to listen to back in 90s that still hold up for me. Chino is a legitimately good vocalist/lyricist. It's a shame The Deftones will never get the respect they deserve due to their loose association with the nu-metal genre

Gold cobra was pretty awful

people dislike limp bizkit because they get that fred durst is a retard

user I am a nu metal and 90s buttrock apologist and even I hate this album

>Kraftwerk shirt
Fred LARPs as a retard but is actually a closet patrician

>most likely synthpop era kraftwerk
>the smiths
more of a closet pleb if anything

It’s because they were doing black music in the 2000’s, nobody had the PC police to call it cultural appropriation (those faggots all pretend to be black anyways) but at the time this was the media’s problem

>rap + metal w/synth
>black music

i mean not to say black people cant like these things but what you said doesnt make sense

borland just released some demos from 2003 if you'll are fans of his work

gold cobra has god tier instrumentation and fred's flow sees a marked improvement over older material
it goes for more of a dry thrashy sound than a reverb drenched proggy one which is why a lot of people don't like it but it's a masterpiece regardless

fuck off scaruffi

I CAME INTO THIS WORLD AS A REJECT
LOOK INTO THESE EYEEEES
THEN YOU'LL SEE THE SIZE OF THE FLAMES

Their legacy wouldve been much better without Fred Durst. They could've been a well respected nu metal act.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HE SAYS SHE SAYS BULLSHIT

they wouldn't have even been nu metal without fred

You're not human if Break Stuff doesn't pump you up.

>Just like this drums start playing and then riff starts in the 5fth bar

very underrated track

>literally a lesser quality Pearl Jam.

Fred Durst's "beef" with Eminem definitely hurt Limp Bizkit because of retards who get tribal over celebrities.

Can't listen to that song without thinking of that Australian girl who got crushed to death.

Maybe this pumps you up in a "yeah, this song is so hard, someone was literally killed listening to it at a concert" kinda way. But when I say it out loud, it sounds pretty lame.

People throw around the term 'pleb filter' a lot but Significant Other is a rare genuine example. It takes no intelligence to make the kind of half-formed criticisms it receives, but doing so provides a shortcut to signal your sophistication and credibility because of the band's polarising reputation and popularity with 'meatheads', 'jocks', etc. Their later stuff is patchier, but SO is a good, fun record full of great heavy grooves.
