as a kid i always thought this was a guy trying to pass of a girl
That's good, but it sounds more like a slicker MBV or Slowdive
This one makes me think of Reese Witherspoon being finger blasted by Marky Mark in FEAR.

Nice. I used to tape these bands' videos off of MTV as a kid just so I could slobber over the frontwomen back in the 90s.

that dog is a great totally forgotten early 90s band
fuck the haters, this is a great song
courtney > kuck cobain
Hole were a great band. I love everything they did in the 90s.
Eric Erlandson and Patty Schemel never got the credit they deserve.
Live Through This is one my fave albums of the '90s and I fucking cringe whenever I bring it up with normies and they are like "ughhhhhh I hate Courtney Love did you know she might have killed Kurt I saw this one thing on YouTube and blablablabla" ugh shut up
they don't sound all that similar though?

Curve themselves were well-versed in the music industry and had careers(Halliday as a failed new-wave popstar, Garcia as a failed touring musician) before they deliberately exploited shoegaze and the alternative dance sounds that were popping up in the late 80s / early 90s when developing Curve's sound. No honor among thieves, eh?
I fucking worship Curve btw so no disrespect meant, and even like some of Halliday's 80s pop shit, as plastic as it is.
i kinda like curve, but this is unironically better.
Halliday was a back up singer for Robert Plant & you're right had a solo album before Curve.
Garcia was the live bassist for The Eurythmics so I hardly call that a "failed touring career."
Dave Stewart was who introduced them and they formed a short lived band State of Play and then Curve.
Massive Curve fan
>I can deal with Miki Berenyi's brand of feminism.
What's distinct about it?
It rules hard yeah, like I said I really like some of Halliday's solo 80s stuff.
I NEVER OPEN MY HEART TO ANYONE

She likes the occasional penis and isn't afraid to admit it. However she would like to be respected for her musical and song writing prowess w/o having to be photographed with her ass hanging out.
