Roger Waters is the brain and talent behind Pink Floyd. You need not look any further than their solo albums. Waters' albums were authentic, bold, unique, lyrical, moving... Gilmour's were meandering, lyrically nonsensical, and apart from his guitar noodling irredeemably bad

As far as I'm concerned, they're are equal. They are perfects friends / enemies. Same jerk but on different sides of the coin. Like a Prof. X and Magneto situations (obvs Waters is Magneto and Prof. X is Gilmour)

Exactly. Roger's solo albums are more like The Final Cut, and at least that album had the benefit of having SOME input from Gilmour.

My theory on it is that Polly Samson is pushing all that beef. she's the yoko ono of pink floyd (polly is a hapa bitch, huge red flag). she was the one pushing for the endless river, only because she was involved with the division bell which has her "lyrics" and the endless river is basically b-side of the divison bell. I have a feeling she's controlling gilmour hard, and doesn't want waters around. Any reunion shit only probably happened because there was huge loads of money involved.

Now what waters did in the 80s was fucked up...but they might have reconciled if it wasn't for polly. And I respect Waters for not letting women controlling his life

Gilmour was the better musician and completely made the PF sound. Seems like a good guy. His lyrics and songwriting chops are solid, not quite as interesting as roger but roger tends to meander in his work.
