So others can look to you as an example of what they could turn into if they fail in life. You will be held up as failure personified, mocked and laughed at until the day you die alone.

I put my guitar skills to
>starting at 10
>daily playing religiously
>lots of LSD
>pot

Yes, it is. He's never going to learn. He's just going to keep making sad, whiny threads like this forever and annoy the shit out of everyone he encounters.

Sometimes when I get down about where I'm at musically I think about my old guitar teacher, who didn't pick up an instrument until his 20s and was great.

oh boy this thread again give up or start now yadda yadda cry or play yadda yadda musical beginning age is not important yadda yadda if the 12 quora and reddit pages you went through worth of "you can play at any age!" didn't convince you, nothing will

Dude stop

This is an every day thread now. I started in my 20s, doing fine with it. We all told you to do this already

Janet Weiss started at 23

Why are there so many of these "wwwwaaahhhh wwwaaaaahhhhh I'll never be famous" threads recently??

You could have started playing/learning instead of making these threads everyday. We've tried to talk it out several times but as it turns out, you do not want to listen.
Log off the internet and think seriously and very carefully about your life.

Its literally just one guy, and its pretty obvious becuase he keeps using doomer wojaks in the OP everytime.

apparently, for OP there is meaning in making these threads.
Who knows, maybe these magical internet points will amount to something some day

Didn't Roger Waters start playing guitar at the age of 20?

if you wanted to play you'd go and play. if you're in it solely for fame and recognition you're doing it for the wrong reasons. you will never make a significant impact on the world and you have to accept that sooner than later user

I'm not OP but why do you think that

Seems like a lot of musicians started playing young but then maybe stopped for awhile for various reasons. If you love playing you can become very good in a few years

Started playing guitar at 12 (27 now). I make a lot of house/dance inspired music nowadays. I always feel limited because of my lack of piano playing experience. I'm unironically kinda good at blue grass guitar though, and I use write/record a lot of math rock songs in college. But if I could exchange my guitar skills for piano, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Guitar is really fun, but at one point you kinda get jealous of the range and relevance that piano has in the current year.

Something something ryo fukui something something you're wrong ass for brains

I started guitar at 19 and now im 24 and very good.

>played Violin as a child
>just started learning piano at 25

wish me luck bros

who cares you dont need to be a virtuoso to be a good songwriter

excuses

Yep. "WAHHHHH I don't get to be a rock star!" is so fucking lame.

probably the smallest brain take on music i hear on the regular.
