Try pushing on your fore finger with your middle finger or maybe stick to 5 chords until you get better

curl your finger my man

Practice for 5 minutes everyday and you’ll be able to do it within a month or two. Just keep practicing.

Been playing guitar for 15 years. indeed they are imppsible.

Thank you

It literally takes a week of practicing. That's it. If you can't play barres you are a beginner

I don't get this meme. I have tiny manlet hands and barring is easy. People must have the hand/palm positioning wrong

I counter attack with an E-bow

>pathetic
how long you been playing guitar?

not this shit again

i parry screaming into my pickups

It's the sliding noise that I still have the most trouble with.

i absolutely can't do pinch harmonics
i can do almost everything else

literally easier and more intuitive than beginner chords

Turn that gain up boi

Hold the pick really close

I can easily do bars with electric but it's hard as shit on acoustic

you think that one is tough? Try this on for size, kiddo

When I read these threads I realize how good I actually am. Same on Reddit (inb4 go back). It's like when you first start lifting and work towards a 225 bench press for 5. You strive and work for it then when you finally get it you realize you ain't shit cuz everyone who is anyone benches 225 for reps in the lifting world. Thank god I started guitar when i was 13 lol

post soundcloud fag

I just don't get how to simultaneously push hard and not put a ton of pressure on the wrist. I can play bar chords for about 2 mins and then my wrist is done

>Thank god I started guitar when i was 13 lol
So you've only been playing two years?

they literally arent. Either you are holding the guitar wrong way round (try left handed see if it works for you) or, your wrist isnt in the right position.

your wrist has to be high up and really pushing in against the back of the neck. You cant just hold it limp-wristed like you can get away with for some open chord shapes.

hold plectrum so that your skin is doing the pluck, not the plectrum. The plectrum will never give you the harmonic.

Bear in mind it only works well at certain frets, too, and only with the distortion turned up.

lol just suck in and blow out

now this thing, is fucking impossible
