When I'm feeling sad I found over the years that emo music really helps me enhance that feeling and cope with it, especially midwest emo... Some might find it too whiny or too immature, but it makes perfect company in times like you described. Pic related has many songs that absolutely crush me, although it's theme is more about unrequited love than about general life sadness like your albums, still has that mood.

yeah rym often can't see any difference between sound collage and musique concrete. they also slap musique concrete as a secondary genre to nearly everything that has some elements of experimental electronic in it
