I like Horrendous a lot and they're pretty cool dudes to hang out with. I much prefer Ecdysis and Anareta to Idol though. Idol just didn't click the way the previous releases did.

Hi paragraph fag is back, and i listened to Shadow of Intent - Melancholy.
Absolutely. Fucking. Amazing. I throughly enjoyed this album from start to finish. Where do I even begin? The intro to the album is mystifying and somber, the riffs never stay the same for long always keeping you interested, theres nut-worthy mini solos littered throughout, i could go on forever. The only, single thing i dont love about this album is the vocals, again im a softie who enjoys singing over growling/screeching but it does fit the tone of the album in all fairness. My favorite tracks are "melancholy" cause its impossible to not love, "dirge of the void" cause of its riffs, and "malediction" cause its such a nice way to cap off the album.
Another shortish review, mainly because i have no real gripes with this album. Its a very strong 9/10 for me, possibly a perfect 10 but id need a few more listens to be sure. Pic related, its me nutting to this album.
I am enjoying reviewing albums you guys suggest and discovering new good metal music but its annoying being pinned as the guy who is driving people away from the thread (niagara falls, obviously). I liked some of his recs, that doesnt mean i am him. Im sure some of you will still not believe im just a humble tourist trying to become more versed in metal, i guess i just have to live with that.
