These threads are usually the same recycled shit so lets shake things up this time

It doesn't click with me. I asume you're either a zoomer (like me) or a millenial. What are some good post punk and shoegaze reccs? I've tried listening to Loveless one but fell asleep halfway thru; as for post punk, I like Sisters of Mercy. I barely know anything abput the albums you listed so I won't asume anything about you.

Is good kid, maad city really that good? I like all your other album pics and have already listened to them, havent listened to kendrick. It's rated really high on rym and I dont know if it deserves that rating. why do you like it?
NMH is just something that's kind of in it's own world. It's got totally weird instrumentation and structures, jeff is a pretty bad singer, and the lyrics are about anne frank and jesus christ. But it's genius how well it works together. It's got moments of beauty and happiness and also moments of pain and sorrow. I also suspect it's a lot of peoples introduction to "lofi" "folk" or "indie" stuff, it's kind of what they first discover when they want to dig into music.

Not OP, but GKMC is definitely one of the best rap albums of the 2010s. Storytelling is fantastic, lyrics are personal, and the instrumentals just fucking go off. A pretty great introduction to hip-hop if you're not a huge fan of the genre.
