This is boring pop, and no matter how many times you post it, that's all it will ever be.

Fuck you, I like it.

You are deaf then

YOU SURELY ARE
A TRULY GIFTED KID
BUT YOU’RE ONLY AS GOOD AS
THE LAST GREAT THING YOU DID

MOOVIN THE RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hasn't clicked for me yet. What is the appeal?

it has like 5 or 6 of the best written pop songs of the 80s
second half isn't all that tho

Horrible bait. Don’t even joke around about Prefab like that

Johnny Johnny Ooooooohh
Fantastic lyrics, some of the most compelling pop arrangements of the 1980’s, not to mention Thomas Dolby’s kaleidoscopic production. Very heartfelt and soulful

It's really good.

best 80s album pleb
you don't have good taste

Great album, I also love Jordan. Which should I listen to next?

the first album and protest songs

I'll check them out later tonight, thanks.

>tfw Faron Young can’t forgive you at 4 in the morning because he died in 1996

Also listen to I Trawl the Megahertz

This. Maybe their best album, just hits differently

I personally don't like the album as much as Jordan or Steve McQueen, but the first track might be the greatest thing I've ever heard, and I've only recently listened to Long Season for the first time.

Personally couldn’t be bet get into Jordan or Langley Park, but I Trawl The Megaheartz is obviously a different type of album altogether. Kind of the cumulative product of Paddy’s career

Yeah, like you said it's a different beast altogether. Definitely worth anyone's time, even if they don't like much Prefab I think.

You might enjoy their 2013 album Crimson / Red. I really like it. One of my top 30 albums of that year.

Thanks for the rec user. I probably will just listen through all of Prefab/Paddy anyway- not like there's much else I need to do right now anyway.

well its not really "their" album, its paddy mcaloon

I think the title track is gorgeous, but "I'm 49" is what hits me the hardest.

Glad to see several Prefab threads recently.

OH ANNE

GARLA-A-AND

>I’m 49
Really good one, but the next song “Sleeping Rough” is my favorite

IIIIT'S ME AGAIN
