And I'm talking about normal music, not that stereotypical Red Army Choir stuff. I've been trying to learn Russian, and I like older music. So yeah, Soviet music.
You can type in Cyrillic. It's the first thing I learned. It was easy.
And here's a quick note to anyone hesitant to learn a language with a different writing system. It's easy. I, a native English speaker, learned the Russian alphabet in a week. It's not difficult at all.
I don't know why you're here on Yas Forums if you can't read. But I guess you can learn it in a week. No excuses.
Carson Smith
Hey I’m the guy that posted that song, but I can actually read Cyrillic, I taught myself, but I latinized it because I was being considerate of the large majority who probably can’t read Cyrillic but are curious to know what the native name is. Asshole
Adam Bell
Oh and I learned it in like 3 days retard
Juan Scott
Why are you getting angry?
Carson White
I meant within a week.
Caleb Brown
Because what was the use of condescendingly replying to post about the Soviet punk to say “uh durrr guys u kno you can post in Cyrillic it doesn’t take that much to learn”
No. I was just saying you can post in Cyrillic. And then I was telling all the lurkers here It's easy to learn a different alphabet. It wasn't directed toward you. I can tell you can read Cyrillic by how you latinized it.
Mason Davis
Umm he literally said here's a quick note to anyone. He never said to you. I guess he thought you typed it like that because he thought you were thinking he couldn't read cyrillic.
Chase Flores
bump
Jose Morgan
Bump for normal music.
Adrian Ramirez
Lurkers, speak up. We need to keep this thing bumped. I'll start a conversation.
So, did you like the music so far?
Jonathan Stewart
Yes, but I'm not about to share the good stuff to be defiled on a Mongolian carpet-trading forum However, lucky for you, you got most of the major good artists. Only thing you're really missing is a couple of rock bands and some bards
Elijah Clark
Why can't you just share it. I say we make Yas Forums great again.
Xavier Phillips
Okay I'll be nice and since people mention it on Yas Forums you probably have encountered it
Kino - Gruppa Krovi
Easily some of the best post-punk around. Think Joy Division but Russian. Very good lyrics, simple yet brilliant melancholic songs, and was a huge cultural factor in the collapse of the USSR
