Not every rap song is built on samples though, are those music?
Rap is not music, it's just niggers talking over beats
Here’s a great example of what you’re talking about.

This is the Beatles song Eleanor Rigby. During the part that goes “all the lonely people / where do they all come from / all the lonely people / where do they all belong,” the orchestra is playing a chord progression that goes Em Em7 Em6
By a complete coincidence, Tom Petty later used that chord progression for his song Into The Great Wide Open

You listen, you can hear the chords being used. But, the rhythm is different, the melody is different, the words are different. It’s nothing like Eleanor Rigby at all
Now listen to these two songs

These rap songs both sample Eleanor Rigby. You can hear though, there’s no creativity or artistic process. These lazy niggers grabbed the Eleanor Rigby instrumental, put a beat under it, and talked over it.
According to the retard you’re responding to, this is the same thing. There’s no difference between Into The Great Wide Open and these two Lonely People songs
using notes that other people have used before is the exact same thing as just playing an already recorded song, actually. whenever I play a beatles track I'm exactly as creative as they first were when they wrote it.

>L.H.O.O.Q. is just as good as El Jaleo because all art is derivative anyway

Hip-hop is literally nothing more than glorified poetry with basic music samples. It’s kind of stupid that there are people here who think it’s amazing
just talking over guitar
Here’s another folk song
