Crunk aint dead

why would we want to?

nigga no one here listens to cr*p

Because if you step outside the three and a half Yas Forums approved hip hop artists you might find something you like

ok whitey

what are your top 5 hip hop albums

My top 5 hip hop albums aren't the point here, I probably share favorites with a lot of people here. The point is that I can appreciate hip hop outside of those albums.
Additionally, I'm not saying I know everything about hip hop, but it's like the veil of ignorance. I know how much I don't know, and you guys don't know how much you don't know.

someone commented filtered because you didn’t like playboy carti didn’t they
just tell us what you like don’t be shy

>someone commented filtered
no clue what this means
>you didn't like playboy carti
How could I dislike the inventor of music?

My favorite hip hop album (as well as just my favorite album) is tpab. Idk what a top five would look like, but my favorites include most of kendrick's albums, saturation I, bandana, Illmatic, 1999, ready to die, mm food, dicaprio 2, and please excuse me for being antisocial

GB2R

lmao, good bait

What are your top 5 hip hop albums?

fair enough, I have listened to quite a bit of hip hop and the only stuff that really sticks is southern hip hop

You’re saying like there’s something to know. Genre fully limited by sampling and the same ass drum machine

trouble - akon
1000 gecs - 100 gecs
true spirit and not giving a fuck - blackie
clouddead - clouddead
while you were out - kazumoto endo

>akon
That is so based that you can completely ignore 100 gecs being on the list

How are you gonna call bait and then list 1000 gecs as a top 5 hip hop album lmao

im in da club wildin out

Attached: peaches.jpg (599x594, 126.43K)

are you saying 1000 gecs isn’t a top 5 hip hop album?

Yes
it does bang doe
welp. proof that I'm a tourist

clouddead is based but 100 gecs isnt even hip-hop

As a (I assume) black guy, how do you feel about sampling? Do you hope it comes back in a big way or do you like where things are headed with drum machines and synths dominating the landscape?

>how do you feel about sampling?
Only good if the beat maker improves upon the song and makes it their own, however I have negative views on sampling popular songs. The track "The World Is Yours" by Nas is a great example of a sample that sounds better than the actual song.

nevermind, realized you were talking to OP without quoting him. Disregard

It’s cool man I’ll take anyone’s opinions, unless you’re underage that is ha ha

you got here to late 2016-2017 was when hip hop was bordering on acceptable but then Yas Forums became Yas Forums culture and they don't really have the best opinions on minorities

It's been dead like rock music since the mid 90's.

Bitch they literally agree with 99% of what is said in this track alone.

I don't like IP. So me thinks we need to force sampling more.
But, I do like analog machines. They just sound better.

Le carti invented le music

Fuck off back to plebbit

yeah but they're blinded by racial hatred to the point where actual morals and stuff like that are secondary.
