That's odd.
I always thought The Beatles were The Beatles of music. And I won't elaborate on that.
Would you please repeat that?

Bad reading comprehension
I don't remember The Beatles still making music 16 years after they should've called it quits

shameful post on my part
You do know spongebob was literally directly inspired by Ween right?
bad comparison
in terms of what they did for their medium, the beatles are the simpsons of popular music
spongebob is like ween or primus or zappa or something
They both share a bizarre/absurdist sense of humor and they both really heavily on non-sequiturs and surrealism and toying with the listener/viewers expectations.
ah, the reflexive property
looney tunes
I'd say it's a decent comparison, something that is immensely popular and absolutely deserves to be
Cringe retards
Both seem dumb and surface-level at first glance, but they're both really intelligent underneath their layer of absurdity.

Which song is the Beatles equivalent of this?
The Beatles wrote goofy fucking nonsense songs like "I Am The Walrus" but they were also capable of changing their tone and covering serious and mature topics like death, the loss of a loved one, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, existential dread, etc on songs like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Yesterday"
SpongeBob seems retarded on the surface, but it tackled themes (albeit in most comedic/abstract ways) like animal cruelty, capitalism, worker's rights violations, the dangers of extreme revolutionary political rhetoric, and so on.
