Who should be the next musician to get their own big budget biopic?

me

that's not Justin Bieber

Fishmans
Zappa
The Residents
Michael Jackson
Kanye
Lou Reed
Daniel Johnston
Captain Beefheart
Chief Keef
Young Thug

Are all unironically ones I would want to see

Do Fishmans have an interesting back story? Residents biopic would be incredible if done right, not that I even know how it should be done

Bob Dylan's getting one. It'll be weird if it's successful and he's in the mainstream again.

Someday if I become a filmmaker, I'm doing one on Talking Heads starring Michael Shannon as David Byrne. If he wouldn't accept, I'd ask Adam Scott. Tina Weymouth would be played by Margot Robbie.

David Bowie

the beach boys but don't invite melinda wilson on set or ask her for help on the script this time

lemmy

Bob Dylans gays

Beatles, showing all the gritty stuff.
Genesis.
The Band.
The Smiths.

Fleetwood Mac. It's too good not to do.

I used to really want to see a biopic where Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays Elton John but i guess we’re a little late for that

Daniel Johnston played by Michael Cera has to be done

Prince

I can't see how a Residents biopic could work.

>Beatles, showing all the gritty stuff.
Never going to happen. They would never show John Lennon beating his wife, Paul smoking shit tons of weed, George cheating on his wife, or Ringo doing anything.

This actually

xxxtentacion

Rick James

Beefhearts the only one I could really be bothered to see if done right

Any answer that isn't Brian is objectively false.

His life literally plays out like a greek tragedy.

>ringo doing anything
Lol

Not a musician but a john peel movie would be kino.

Didn't they already do one with Classic Paul Dano

This would actually be a really sad movie and would have to be like 3 hours long to cover just the major events - it should definitely happen. his life was pretty insane really, not in a drugs and rock'n'roll way - more like an abuse, neglect, fame, antisocial disorder, delusion and maybe he touched some kids along the way who knows. Good answer.

Another one? I'm Not There was enough.

biopic's are trash. none.
mfw bohemian rhapsody had so much easily fixable mistakes which would've made the movie more bearable.

Cobain, Bowie, Lemmy, Lou Reed

Itd just be fear and loathing in las vegas again
