i just started listening to shoegaze, started with all the basic shit, but the only band ive found to be worthwhile is mbv. a lot of it feels too slow and uneventful for me, does anyone have any good recs?
did u try the american scene bands? Medicine, Drop Nineteens, Swirlies, even Ringo Deathstarr. Solid starting points if you want more upbeat stuff. The UK scene was known for being more ethereal and atmospheric while the US scene was being pretty atmospheric and noisy.
