An alternate one of these threads. I'm aware that currently exists, but these kinds of threads always have the exact same prompts.
So to shake it up, do this. >go to picrew.me/image_maker/148413/ >post your top 5 genres >top 5 albums >least favorite genre >most listened to album >the last song you've listened to
Make assumptions about each other, h8, r8, and comment8.
Genres: >Bluegrass >Stoner Metal >Folk >Art Pop >Heavy Metal
Albums: >Fever Ray- Fever Ray >If I Should Fall From Grace With God - The Pogues >Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath >The Knife - Silent Shout >Om - Adviatic Songs
Least favorite: >Christian Rock
Most Listened: Fever Ray's ST. There's nothing like it.
I feel like you're like me and had a hard time figuring out what genre is the one you hated the most because you either listen to what you like and avoid shit you don't or want to give everything a chance, so you picked Christian Rock because it's an easy choice. I was gonna say Bro Country because of that. You appreciate what people before you achieved but like something off the wall not because you're pretentious but because you want to excite yourself with variety.

love to see bluegrass appreciation, it seems unrecognized on this board
Unfortunately I'm not based enough to smoke weed and I'm worried about the ATF getting on my shit if I did I feel like you just like a good riff and some energy. And that's based as fuck. I wish I was. I feel like you want to feel comfortable and enriched in your daily life. You just want some god damn respect. You're mad and you don't know why sometimes. Nah, kids wouldn't get into lolicore nowadays, Nightcore started getting popular during my... Junior year? And that's what weebs listen to now. Lolicore kinda got buried. Which is a shame. I feel like you want to be a wholesome person but have too much anxiety to make it happen. Quiet helps with your introspection. Honestly I just used my favorite genres as a way to think of my favorite albums. For instance I'd say I like Synchroniciteen better than Immersion or Synchronicity but I've kinda soured on jpop lately. You play guitar. I do agree, I love Aphex Twin for instance and he's considered IDM but hates the name. It's not bad music but if you go into it trying to be "intelligent" it's just gonna end up shitty. Also nujabes fucking rocks. I feel like you strive for enlightenment but can't reach it, not because you are incapable but keep raising your own bar. You're fed up with the rat race and want to simply exist but outside pressures mean you can't.
I think I'm just making shit up for everyone and projecting. Oh well
