I've never seen the appeal of this band.

They are pure

it's an excellent song but i'm not entirely convinced that that's the best song on keep it like a secret
>time trap
>else
>center of the universe

though the center of the universe -> carry the zero -> sidewalk is maybe one of the best runs in pop music

Kicked it in the sun's outro is gold

Every time I try listening to this band I can't get over the annoying vocalist and go back to listening to Yo La Tengo.
Ira Kaplan is the greatest male indie rock vocalist alive

redpilled

Broken Chairs is better

>center of the universe -> carry the zero -> sidewalk
Incredibly based, could listen to those three songs forever

ive just been youtube algorithm'd this band. I like it so far, redpill me on it

More like Build to suck BBC

What are you twelve? They're Built to Spill, they're fucking dope.

built to spill is the type of band you can only appreciate if you're a 28-38yo weak chinned dude who's slept with 2 women in his life, or a girl with BPD who raises chickens and grocery shops on a bicycle

This is the type of comment you make when you try but fail to be clever. It's ironic cuz it imitates the style and humour of any basic twitter bitch.

Someone made this exact thread a couple of weeks ago and it made me listen to the song, hadn't heart it before and thought it was some hidden gem in their discography, not their most popular song, not hard to see why tho. Had no idea they were so big once upon a time either.

Else and Broken Chairs are better but this is the greatest overall album ever made

this is the type of comment you make when a comment hits a little deep and you get defensive

anyone else see them live this past year? carry the zero live was magical

OP here.

I've actually slept with 9 and I have a pretty strong jawline.

I've stayed away from going to their live shows because from what I've seen the new band members really just don't cut it.

I love BtS with their album cuts, but they're so layered I think its really hard to translate that to concert.

i thought the same thing but doug has about a million different pedals and loops going on when he plays live and it works. its a different kind of guitar virtuosity that you couldn't find really anywhere else live

Predictable, of course a "no u" retort would come from a midwit like you. I just dislike faggotry, not everything is personal. The comment would've been fine if it was actually clever instead of trying to be.

>YouTube algorithm’d one of the most popular indie bands of all time
lol

oh god i can smell the ipa through my fucking screen. brush your teeth

oh I get it they're just boomer shit ok

Layers of guitar, and jamming
Definitely my favorite Built to Spill song
I stayed away from a show when they came around here, which I sort of regret but I can't believe he doesn't have the three guitar lineup, those guys were the top quality shit

I don't drink but I see you're still sticking to your faggot act, your posts still read like a twitter girl trying her hardest to be sassy. Ironic, again, because your original comment made fun of chinless betas, yet that's exactly how you come across.

Just because it might be their best song, doesn't mean it's their best music

Perfect From Now On was the only record of theirs I was familiar with before I listened to Carry the Zero and the rest of KILAS, and I agree PFNO is the better album.

Meant for
