I spend too much time on my songs and they always turn out just OK. How do you guys get around this?
soundcloud.com/blutrot
I'm a techno producer from Hamburg, Germany who's trying to make modern, aggressive industrial techno. I put a lot of work in my tracks, the most sampeling I do is dry oneshots from drummachines everything else is either synthezied, programmed or fieldrecorded by me. My main inspiration are the underground raves I regularly used to attend before Covid-19 and I hope my track can give you some of those vibes.
Enjoy~

here.
Make a fuckton of music. When I started out producing I made like 2-3 8-16 bar loops per day for months, just trying to work on my sound and I still do so. Practice is everything.

I dig your track. The timbre of the synth you used fits well. The mix felt sorta quiet like it was hard to pick out certain elements of what was going on but other than that, cool tune my dude.

for me is the totally different. I just do my stuff and end up making something perhaps too long and then sometimes I have to cut some parts. Also I've always though you should make you tracks a little bit longer, idk.

Idk if I'm just not that familiar with the genre you are drawing inspiration from but I am not a fan of the vocals, they aren't harsh and fried enough for me and are too high in the mix. On things I do like though, the track is very noisy and chaotic and definitely has potential. I really enjoy the shift between the first and second section of the song
