Shredders can hardly stand their own ground in history. They don't make music, they make a reputation as a guy who's really good at guitar. And there were lots of guys who were better at guitar, and better for the camera.

What guitarist has been the biggest influence on your playing? Like, if you had to narrow it down to just one that has been the biggest, who would it be?
For me, it's Marty Friedman. I catch myself all the time doing bends and vibrato that I an subconsciously copying from Marty. So much of what I do is trying to emulate his style, even without me realizing it
