yeah but his music was quite mediocre. sure, some of his songs were pretty catchy but he was by no means a decent rapper. his music is the definition of hot trash along with 69, lil peep and the rest of their gang.
only reason he is popular is because his music is easily accessible. not everyone is into wu tang clan, big l, etc, because they dont care for lyrical rap and thats fine although take lyrical strength out of hiphop and you are left with pop music. that's right, his music is pop, its not hiphop and thats the problem because people incorrectly label his music and it spits on the culture.
