Is it just me or black metal has got huge zoomer/teenager (14-19 years old) following - in comparison to death metal? There's like a new subculture encompassing bm, core genres and even cloud rap, they often like DSBM, NSBM and are what I'd call emo nazis.

However, I find no traces of any teen subculture surrounding death metal. Has death metal reached a dead end, pretty much? Fewer albums, less music, no following.

If I'd have to fuck any of these, I'd probably pick Babymetal

where do you see this?
desu metal is pretty much dead atm, kids don't give a fuck about it

Happy Easter, brothers. Remember to listen to Trouble and Stryper today

You mean Deicide. All religitards must hang.

Probably because black metal is much more appealing to younger teens because of its reputation and the batshit crazy stories that come out of it. Death metal was mostly normal dudes playing loud music, but black metal was like a cult in the early days

I don't believe in religion user. I believe in the love of Jesus

black metal is mind-numbingly simple and straightforward, therefore easier to get into

It's just you

Black metal is how I found out about Ghostmane actually. Unfortunately Ghostmane sucks

What you talking about? You makin it sound like some 1984 shit.

I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO HEAVY CHUNKY RIFFS

not avaiable in my country :(((((((((((((((((((((((((

Same but you're retarded if you rely on YouTube for music.

Why do some bands sound like crap on albums, but actually pretty good live?
Amon Amarth imo

There's a video where Mike Smith confesses that Suffocation always has this problem. He said they never got a single record to sound properly.

because very loud sounds rot your brain and make you think that shit music is good

Gonna listen to incubus, kek
