it's not the usa where you can tour around to a million pubs in a thousand cities
the game is rigged from the start. the fact that most major festivals are associated directly with eachother should tell you that success is usually manufactured here. bands start out in pubs and clubs, get an audience, try to get airplay, try to get booked, and the bigger it gets the more they have to sell out to climb the ladder. it's the name of the game.

Always good to be reminded of the fact that nobody hates Australia as much as Australians do.
