Amazing musician with a refreshing message, it is so easy to just make nihilistic dark music as it is easy to take that seriously, it is far harder to send a positive life-affirming message while treating your audience with respect while also making it sound cool and not stupid, Andrew WK's music is both positive yet powerful, which is a pretty rare combination especially for rock music.

An enigma. He has the rare ability to make music which is at once incredibly powerful and positive. It's not a combination that everyone enjoys listening to. Up until his recent album, he had made been making a lot of music which seemed to lack the sense of focus and scale that was particular there on The Wolf, which for me is one of the best albums.
