do you have schizophrenia

why is loaf becoming so popular all of a sudden?
they have been around since the 90s. the remasters came out close to 10years ago.
just curious.

tried the loaf but damn it really feels mid compared to a lot of their contemporaries (seam, polvo, etc). something about their music just doesn't stick with me

not this shit again
its literally one guy making these posts

it's one guy who has spent probably more than a year posting endlessly about them

because theyre based

explains it.
damn i fell for it..

it's one poster, a very based one
GO LOAF

Please PLEASE tell me why you feel the need to shill a band that hasn't released an album in two decades

GOOOOOO LOAF!!!

>what is Slint?
>what is Neutral Milk Hotel?
>what is Unwound?
>what is Pavement?

If you can't tell the difference between an Unwound thread and this shit you're critically autistic

the ONLY difference between Unwound and LOAF is Scaruffi shilled for Unwound and all the Yas Forums drones went apeshit over the breath of their mediocrity.
if Yas Forums had put Ott or Christgau on a pedestal while Yas Forumscore was being developed, instead of Scaruffi, LOAF would be a meme instead of garbage like Unwound and Neutral Milk Hotel.

based LOAF

any random deep cut from the strokes wipes off the map the entire loaf discography

I find your point silly, but I begrudgingly agree with it. Archers of Loaf were one of the best bands of the early indie era, and I love both those albums.

The garage rock revival was honestly massively influential on me because it happened at a key point in my early musical development. However, The Strokes always just sounded like a meh bar band to me. I always preferred The White Stripes, The Libertines, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and bands like that.

I know nothing about them and the only thing holding me back from listening is their absolutely abysmal name. It literally makes me want to puke.

THIS (kinda)

youtube.com/watch?v=pm_R5u0DHec

Just do it man, click the video

Think about how easy a decision this is. You click it. You love it. You got LOAFpilled

Now you have one of the best discographies of the 90's to listen to. Now you can LOAFpost with your brothers. Now you can go see the Archers live on their tour after the Corona thing. How cool is that? All of that just for a simple click.

Hell man, I just clicked it myself. Join me

>rockin out

they're about the same, it's people praising a product a little too hard, don't kid yourself

I'd put AoL above Seam, but Polvo is leagues above both.

Ash Bowie's voice is kinda annoying, his lyrics are good/ok, solid melodies
Bachmann has a great voice, great lyrics, and great melodies
Ash is a much better guitarist, and Polvo is a much more solid band of musicians
Eric Johnson of LOAF is very solid though as well
Seam puts me to sleep
LOAF never put out a bad album (Bachmann put out at least 2)
Polvo put out Shapes, which is pretty fucking bad.
