I've always hated comedy music that focuses on comedy, has to be good music first that has comedic elements second. I hated most of the comedy rap things Filthy Frank did but I liked a lot of the non comedy choruses that he put into his later songs, like vid related:

his early stuff as a serious music producer kinda has the same sound and IMO that is where he excels. i like when his voice is kinda lighthearted but most of his new stuff is a lot more melancholic and it just sounds boring.
