Unironically stairway to heaven

Derek Trucks shits all over boomers

Not the greatest or could be considered the greatest but I really really like Gilmour's solo on Hey You. It's really soulful, like probably the most I've heard.

The bends are immaculate and the backing guitars harmony really compliment the solo instead of being being a bland chord playing while the lead guitar carries it. Plus that tone is so soo sooo fucking sweet.

my top three are:
neil young - cortez the killer
frank zappa - watermelon in easter hay
pavement - fin

Mick Taylor - Time Waits For No One

Talking Heads - Drugs, Live in Rome 1980

Watermelon is overrated as hell

the entire second half of Mountain Jam by the Allman Brothers Band- ecompassing some of Duane's most beautiful improvisation ever.

honorable mention for the solo in Blue Sky.

Second solo in Ikon by High Rise. Just absolutely mental playing. At 8:38 it sounds like the guitar equipment fucks up during the climax and it's amazing and completely unexpected. You can't plan that shit.

The version makes the studio version obselete. Fantastic section with the speed up.
