this one time I was driving my roommate home from uni and he put on lil dicky's song "pillowtalking"
he said it was one of the funniest songs he had ever heard and that lil dicky is one of his favourite rappers
it was 10 full minutes of nothing but "haha I'm such a dork!"-tier humour, and once it was over I told him it was one of the worst songs I had ever heard
he looked really disappointed and didn't know how to respond

Eminem (even old) is so overrated and he never lived up to Stan. Even his old stuff didn’t come to close matching the emotional potency of that song. He relied on edgy gimmicky lyrics in too many songs
