Calling all Yas Forumssicians! Have you got music on Spotify, but are struggling to get it off the ground? Hype Generator is our attempt to crack the Spotify algorithm, and give ourselves all a boost.

If we all follow each other's pages, and spin the playlist, it'll result in an uptick in listeners, streams, and followers, exactly what you need to get the algorithm to start noticing you.

Hello. I know for a fact that at least 3 of the bands/artists on the playlist aren't following literally anyone else on the playlist (tracked down their individual members Spotify accounts out of interest).
What's the best way of handling this? Name and shame? Just leave them be?

Can't rule out people using burner accounts, or just not using their personal account for their music.

Ah that's not so bad really, I wouldn't expect people to keep up to date with every addition to the playlist, just not feasible. If someone followed everybody there when they were added, within a few days half of the people on the playlist would have been added since then
