Anyone who can’t is a brainlet

Singer from Lostprophets? Fuck no.
Someone who made a slightly racistsexisthomophobic tweet? Yeah.

Absolutely no Nazis. Period.

Um. I think all the real Nazis are dead.

Yes, especially in the case for Whirr where they just made some transphobic tweets,

David Bowie fucked a 13 year old and Miles Davis beat his wife and yet they're both still in the top 20 . RYM is full of hypocrites.

I don't give a fuck if a musician doesn't like trannies or immigrants

I find it difficult sometimes, but I do it for the sake of my own sanity.

Sure. Luckily the most my favorite artists have done is being retards (which desu happens with most artists). If say Kanye did something like the Lostprophets guy as much as it pains me to say it I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy his music. It's too much.

So anything but Hitler speeches and German propoganda music from that period is okay in your book?

Anyone who can is a brainlet.

As long as they don't openly display their politics on their music, I think I can (like Varg). But I would never listen to a NSBM album for example, even if it was the greatest of all time. Like most of that stuff is made by talentless bloodthirsty nazi gang members and just exist to fund their shitty parties.

no. the artists's story makes the art better

>I would never listen to a NSBM album
You're not missing much. At least 90 percent of it is filled with garbage disney riffs.

>Singer from Lostprophets? Fuck no.
Didnt know what this was about so I googled it. Oops.

Why wouldn't I? This is like the first think you need to know before starting judging any piece of art

Yeah, dude fucked a babby. Sick shit.

Imagine being an adult human who views the world through this lense? It’s like a disability

Absolutely. I like the music of Austin Jones, he had talent and was too fucked up to overcome his issues. A lot of people claim that people who do what he did, their apologies aren't sincere and what they say about what got them to that point is always an excuse. Well I can actually see how the negative shit got him to that point. It's a line he should not have crossed and he deserves prison time for that, maybe not ten years, maybe 7, but still. He allowed the lack of attention in his life to take him over and allowed the fame to eat him and remove any semblance of common sense. He did it, it's his fault, but I understand on a human level how that shit can ruin a person. Don't condone, but be compassionate.

this. it's all about hypocrisy and being inconsequent. that explain why people like bowie or lennon are untouchables

I can. Lostprophets is fucking amazing music, Ian is just a dickhead who was so narcissistic he became a monster. I think of him sort of as a real life version of Frank from Hellraiser. Obsessed with pushing the boundries until it was all he cared about. He is scum, and he should never be let out of prison, but he doesn't deserve to die.

I'd sentence him to death, and I was a jury foreman on a double homicide case. If rape were punishable by death, and he'd done it in the US, I'd have voted for death.

Sad you think that way man. You aren't in charge of who lives and dies, and I hope nobody as delusional as you ever gets into power.

No, I wasn't in charge of the death penalty, but I signed the papers that sent a man away for life without parole.

You're a pretty bad person yourself then. You're not a rapist, but you're so full of yourself that you think you have the right to ruin someone's life when 99 percent of people can change.

miles davis beat his wife? miles davis beat his wife
>miles davis beat his wife

When I choose to.

mega lolz

Eleven other people voted exactly the way I wanted them to. It's not my fault. Besides, the guy would kill again.

>99 percent of people can change

>n 99 percent of people can change
Oh sweet summer child. Lmao

That's what he said.

he was legitimately cool when he was insane, before the money made him another weak overly-comfortable youtube zoomer

They can. I understand you probably don't have any life experience but alright.

How old are you? I'll know if you're lying, since I've heard plenty of bullshit in court.

All I'm saying is I have seen people go from good to garbage and garbage to good. It's possible for most people to change. By your logic, why let anyone out of prison ever?

NOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST KILL MY HECKIN MURDERINOS NOT THE HECKIN GOOD BOI

Attached: EFk7IxgWkAAB_Yr.jpg (516x424, 32.38K)

You're likely more right wing. I used to be that way, but the funny thing is you criticize other countries (probably rightfully) and shit for being savage animals and meanwhile you're exactly the same way. What makes you any better? You apparently don't see the hypocrisy there.

I question that every time it comes up. Did we do the right thing? IDK. He killed two people with a single shot shotgun and said he was too high to remember. Fuck that guy. He'll kill someone else, so we can't let him out. It's a heavy responsibilty.
Die in a fire.

Maybe I was wrong then. Sorry for making it seem black and white. I think my initial statement made it seem like I would ALWAYS say people can change. People like that guy, yeah he can't, at least not for a long, long time. I'd say life with the change of parole in 25 years actually does make sense in that case, I mean think about it, 25 years is a long, LONG time. If someone lived that long while being forced to think about what they did to get them there, basically self punishment, either they get worse or get better. What do you think?

>executing violent murderers is the same as third world savagery
based retard

>ethical consumption
>you tacitly support a musician by stealing their music and listening to it privately
what a stupid fucking scene
what a bunch of lame assholes
fuck you if you put up with this

I wish he could have been rehabilitated, but the way the criminal justice system works, it just provides retributive justice and protection for the public. I just wanted people not to feel afraid of being shot to death by this guy. Honestly, if I had the power, I'd release him today on parole. He's old now. I don't even know if he's still alive.

I have to say that even though I despise what he did, I admire his motivation and skill with a firearm, getting off four shells, hitting with three, and killing two people.

You're still ripping someones life from them, you're still acting like you're god, you're still a savage animal yourself, just under the self righteous belief that you're the better one. You're not.

It's really not an issue. We don't have the death penalty in my state.

That makes a lot of sense. Wanting people to feel safe, I can't argue with that and if the guy is still alive I hope he did finally own up to what he did for himself too, understand he ruined peoples lives.

One problem I've started to have, and this isn't related to you at all, it's just in general, is that people seem to think the law is always right. It usually is, but what stops that from becoming swayed like in a place like China? Belief in the people running it? I don't know, if you can go to prison for Misgendering someone or 'hate crime', it seems wrong to always say that the law is right.

>You're still ripping someones life from them
Not just someone, a murderer who knew the full extent of the law, knew that killing was wrong and did it anyway.

>you're still a savage animal yourself
I've never kill anybody nor voted to kill somebody.

>just under the self righteous belief that you're the better one. You're not
Actually, yeah. I am better than somebody who decides to murder innocent people. By the way, do you happen to support abortion by chance?

kanye is worse than the lostprophets guy already

>By the way, do you happen to support abortion by chance?

No.

Nah, rule of law isn't always right. Most people know what is right and wrong. Don't shit where you eat. Don't kill. Don't steal (for fear of retribution). So, we end up in these ritualistic displays, like being a member of a jury just because you registered to vote.

Shit.
I support abortion and infanticide.

>I've never kill anybody nor voted to kill somebody.

>Kills babies before they are even born.

Alright, champ.

This person isn't me desu:

I stand by my words. "It is no shame to stand upon the scaffold. This is nothing but political revenge. I have served my Fatherland as others before me ..."
I know. I'm baiting him.

I'm probably more right wing than you, but alright. Anyway, back to music, no artist should be judged based on what they did in terms of how their music is heard.

For Chrissake, you're farther right wing than Dr. Karl Brandt? Go str8 to hell, you fuckwad.

No, than you specifically.

Not murder.

You have no idea what I believe. I keep that to myself. Is that an odd concept here? Not discussing religion or politics?

Lol I been listening to my lostprophets cds and b-sides all day. Sad how that turned out

Yeah, I read several articles about baby raping, then listened to a Lostprophets track. I felt dirty, so I had to find some gopnik porn to fap to.

I too, was digging their music and I kinda sympathize with this guy, but the 4/10 is a bit too much. Still would've given it a 8/10. But what they said is so fucking stupid, they tweeted from the bands actual account about them, saying shit like;

"lol attempting suicide. If you’re gonna do it, do it right the first time. — Whirr (@free_whirl)"

and

"nah, that’s an actual stance on suicide. My mom commited suicide why can’t all these trans kids get it right?"

I mean being offensive on social media is one thing, but telling another band to kill themselves? Stop saying things. I mean, even from my leftist viewpoint telling another person to kill themselves over ideals is morally bankrupt. This shouldn't be political, though, it's just an overall braindead PR move that would get you sent to the HR department if you worked as a janitor in a high school. I can't even fathom why they would tweet this.

Yes. It's one of the easiest things to do in fact
