some good video editing matching the chops of the vocals in the song, not a huge fan of the whole clown thing but thats the image youve gone with so whatever. think it would be cool if you left the image to the listeners imagination but that's just me and you've definitely made yourself hard to forget. pretty cool song albeit a bit long for what it is but hey what the hell is time anyway? how often you holing? i was doing that shit every 2 weeks for awhile but tolerance caught up with me to the point that a gram wont accomplish anything interesting even after taking a 2 month break

Ok, here's what you really need to know. Bass is integral to music. It's is the true backbone to all music. Drums/Beats are ONLY rhythm, and guitars/synths etc are ONLY melody. But bass? Bass is BOTH. That's why bass makes or breaks a song. So when in doubt BOOST it out!

Polyrhythms are more important than you beginner producers think. You think"duhh Im st00pid so I du kick one 1 and snare on da 3, yay!" But that's pathetic. Man up and experiment with legitimate beats and rhythms. You should learn about Complex Flow. It's an important aspect to enjoyable beats. Once you man up and start trying to create something great instead of something that will go "viral" (which NEVER do, if that's what you aim for... HA!) But whatever, I can rant to you all day and you'll still be making generic beats.
Not bad overall, but bro heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy:
Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive"
all the way up. Turn other volume
knobs down to get the loudness
you want. Once you've proved
you can get heavy distortion,
dial things back to find the tone
you want. Focus on being LOUD!!
Some amps won't distort at low
volumes, mainly because that's
dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like
this, either just play loud or give up.

always focus on that crispy sound

In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what
can I do to make these drums
sound better, like they BUMP to the
sample, but still stick out and hit
hard?” Bro... Think about it like this,
it might mean you have to be
processing to the sample, or
processing to the drums, or both.
And generally needssome
experimentation to make it BOOM
in the speaker. And also mmatching
the space is super key. This isn’t
easy, it takes a really ADVANCED
ear like mine. But if you can train
yourself to listen to the ambience in
the sample and recreate that
ambience around the drums, but
don't get confused. You follow?
Next turn up the EQ low end (bass)
and ta-da you're better.

Yea it's just flawless in my eyes. Kind of reminded me of Axel Boman. I'm not that familiar
with this specific subgenre of house but with the quality it's at I would think that you have a large
following and played at boiler room before.

In my opinion the drums sound off. Like every guitar and bass you have is grungy kinda lo-fi
, but then the drums come in and they're way too clean. You could just do a quick fix and roll
off the highs with eq, but maybe you want that drastic contrast.

Yea "whatever happens..." sounds the most like it'd be on that youtube lofi stream.
The mix is great, the bebop sample was a good choice cause it changes up a lot
so it doesn't get stale. The bass could have been beefed up a bit, it falls a bit flat.
You got pump that sucker with a compressor or something, add in some lil fills.

I don't really like trap as a whole so memories ain't doing it for me.

The drums on green hill are super quiet. It's my understanding that in 8-bit there's no dynamic range and everything just peaks at 0. That being said have you thought about making the same songs but not 8-bit? What made you get into 8-bit and only make music with that style cause that's a hell of a commitment.
