This is cool, I don’t even usually check out these threads but you’re at least doing something unique. I’d personally say to look into some vocal styles that might also work with this, and to maybe try some alternatives to the emo kind of yelling, and for everything in general don’t be afraid to just add “more”, broadly speaking, on top of everything you already have. Like more tracks and just sounds that counter what’s already there

Speed up your music by about 104bpm
You still wanting to collaborate?
Try experimenting with more obscure time signatures
Most rock music uses the same chords and sounds that other bands have played millions of times throughout history sent through devices that modify the sound in similar ways that other bands have done millions of times throughout history. The difference is the modification of the sound that can be different (analogous to using effects on a given sound you've sampled) and the sounds are put into a different order (which is something you do when you sample stuff too). And you don't need to use already existing sounds if you're sampling. You can record or play your own sounds to use. This isn't the most common thing to do but it is something that's done.
Definitely don't be afraid to make it way more glitchy, don't be afraid of your own genre.
& Alright, once you've grabbed yourself an electric guitar instead of a limpD accoustic, heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy:
Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive"
all the way up. Turn other volume
knobs down to get the loudness
you want. Once you've proved
you can get heavy distortion,
dial things back to find the tone
you want. Focus on being LOUD!!
Some amps won't distort at low
volumes, mainly because that's
dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like
this, either just play loud or give up
It could be interesting to add extremely fast breakbeats at certain points in the music.

Trying to pursue a career in music will be a living hell if you're self-conscious. So let's get this sorted out because that's not acceptable. Being self-conscious is all in your head. You most likely have some serious rewiring you'll have to do. Have a mantra you can repeat in your head to feel confident and say it over and over if you're feeling self-conscious.
Work on integrating more complex elements into your music. Polyrhythms are more important than you beginner producers think. You think"duhh Im st00pid so I du kick one 1 and snare on da 3, yay!" But that's pathetic. Man up and experiment with legitimate beats and rhythms. You should learn about Complex Flow. It's an important aspect to enjoyable beats. Once you man up and start trying to create something great instead of something that will go "viral" (which NEVER do, if that's what you aim for... HA!) But whatever, I can rant to you all day and you'll still be making generic beats.
Dryposting won't get you anything, whether your wanting criticism or just plays.
I can tell you really want to be Viper.

noise drum shit
I don't think so. What facts are you going to check?
wanna collab?
Guys what do you think? I made this yesterday:

i don't use social media
Make this song at least twice as long and draw out the ending to be more trance-like.
Work on making more complex music
Have fun never being a musician bro LOL
Try making some music that's around 100bpm faster.
Learn about disortion. And hire a drummer, most session drummers aren't too expensive because they get bullied so you should definitely look into hiring one asap.

im ok with not being confident and dont feel comfortable with those who are.any dream of "making it" in music is dead. making music is just the thing that i do that matters to me
not that i dont appreciate the positivity mind you. just music isnt a career its a passion and im ok with those lines never touching
DON'T TAKE DUBBI SERIOUSLY

Whatever floats your boat. I think developing confidence would be helpful whether or not you're wanting to be a professional musician.
Imagine being THIS insecure.

There's a reason why that gaggot lil peep died. This whole Emo trap fusion should have died with that Yeink, plus he was just trying to copy Bones, he said so himself. Imagine just copying someone. Oh wait that's what you do LOL btfo.

I meant the person who quoted him.
he's telling him to go weirder, exactly the opposite of making something palatable to anyone.
dubs confirm it
Exactly.
oh fuck you and fuck faqqi or whatever name he's going by now.
:(
I'm not saying this to sound like a dick but I genuinely don't understand this type of music. I would genuinely like to understand what the appeal is for people.
Again, sorry if I'm coming across as rude it's just that to me this sounds like loosely structured chords meshed with glitch noises.
What's you approach when you're making this type of music and what aspects of it do you enjoy the most?
confidence is overrated. obviously itll take people further than without it but acceptance of reality is just as good if you're just creating either way. would never want to feel like i tricked someone into thinking im more than i am
not him but I like that kind of stuff cause it sounds pretty
