I want to be this good!!
t. haven't had a guitar in 2 years
I'm honestly in tears just listening to early Sonata Arctica and his solos
America, Brazil, and Germany are where all good thrash comes from.
Btw all of early Sonata Arctica is free to listen on Spotify
ok tourist
Glad they finally added the good albums, I don't like em all as much as when I was 15, but Ecliptica is still the jams.
>no Dew Scented

Iktfb, I can barely even play Maiden/Metallica solos, there is no hope. Focusing more effort lately on bass, it's fun.
good shit
Thoughts? Pretty good spacey atmoshit. Anything more like it?

What made Finland such a special place for metal between 1995-2005?
shut up retard
Need more black metal with kino bass
I wrote this in the prev thread, it absolutely destroys me that he could play so much better than me at an age when I was just figuring out Breaking the Law. This guy is a true artist, I suppose just like how I'll never become a circus performing acrobat or an Olympic athlete I'll probably never be a guitarist like him either. They're in a league of their own, I'm guessing they actually enjoy practicing the guitar and doing scale runs to get them at such a speed.
The best Finnish metal album released in 2011.
Which?
New Mare Cognitum/Spectral Lore collab album is p amazing. Bass work on that ia nuts
There's surely some level of innate ability. Just as I will never bench 3 pl8 natty, largely due to my small frame, for most of us playing like that is out of reach. Unless you have Asian discipline maybe.
I need more of these screaming donald duck images. Trying to rebuild my collection. Google isn’t helping at all.
Yeah but he's born in some random small town at the ends of the earth in a country of 5 million people. How the fuck?

>According to the French newspapers Le Parisien and Le Dauphiné Libéré, acclaimed heavy metal cover artist Jean-Pascal "JP" Fournier was arrested on Thursday for allegedly killing his 80-year-old father, Jean-Paul Fournier, by disemboweling him and shooting an arrow in his head.
>The police apparently discovered Jean-Paul's body on Wednesday after being alerted by relatives. The victim's wife, an elderly and sick woman, was upstairs when the police arrived.
>One day after allegedly committing the murder, Jean-Pascal reportedly tried to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge into the Isère river in the town of Saint-Martin-d'Hères in the suburbs of Grenoble. The police were called, and the the 47-year-old suspect, who was not injured, was immediately taken by investigators to the Grenoble police station where he was placed in police custody.

Is he in a good band? No? Then who cares
December Flower has quite possible the greatest solo of all time.
Not really, but he made Blank File which makes him cool in my book.
I was liking it until the solo. Sounds like budget LaRocque

Truly masterful weaving of metal and melody. Jester Race is a monumental and, dare I say, based album.

The biggest scam/troll pulled on me was believing that death and black metal were "neoclassical" like A.N.U.S. said, rather than actual neoclassical metal.
holy shit
that guy did the At the Heart of Winter artwork and a bunch of others
It's a good solo but Jani Liimatainen plays faster and is more impressive.
>In Flames up to and including Clayman is pure kino.
Yup. Shame there's no band that comes close.
