I genrally dont listen to brazilian music that much but from my research theres no many interesting obscure albums. I would recommend vespas mandarinas and fundação but not exactly obscure.
Forgotten Brazilian garage band. Pretty cool and catchy stuff in their 2000 debut album.

Obligatory if you like psychedelia.

Not obscure, but unironically love this shit
Brazil has always been behind in the rock scene with bands here preferring to copy foreign bands instead of using elements of our culture. Now that rock is dead worldwide I don't think people even have bands anymore except for tribute bands and mpb bands that basically sound the same.
Kino
You have problems, seek help
Brazil's best music has always been Samba and its subgenres (Partido Alto, Choro).
But there were innovative stuff in our Rock though like Arrigo Barnabé and Raul Seixas (who mixed Brazil's culture with Rock).

Are you retarded?
Not brazilian, but this is one of my favorite jazz albums
Yes, and Vanguarda Paulista as well. It's basically a blend of Rock, Jazz, Samba, Forró creating something extremely unique.

He's my guy! Love his music, reminds me of that favela movie City of God
>reminds me of that favela movie City of God
It's because it's Samba. City of God has Cartola in the soundtrack (who also played Samba) but it takes place in Rio de Janeiro.
Adoniran Barbosa is an artist from São Paulo.
I thought Barbosa has a song in City of God? I could've could've confused it though for another song in the Brazilian Doomer YouTube playlist
>I could've could've confused it though for another song in the Brazilian Doomer YouTube playlist
