Oi, my friend wants to get into classical music and came to me because he thinks it is impenetrable and knows I'm into it.
So I'm putting together a sort of small document that is an overview of classical music history with selected works from different eras & styles. Maybe about 20-30 different pieces.
I'm excluding any pieces that are embedded in popular culture already, since they've already heard those. Basically, what do you think are some important works that total normies would enjoy? I already have a selection of around 10-15 pieces, just lookin' for some input. Brief pieces preferred.
