true, open mics are good for building up stage presence for sure. i wish i were better at networking
that being said, i really fuck with the production on diced. the way you edit your voice is pretty col, and the instrumental is unique. i wish there were more memorable moments, maybe some strong motifs, but i like this
pretty cool, feel like this would be in bioshock or f:nv. not something i would listen to on my own, but i think it would work with the right setting (a scary movie, a drug trip, something along those lines)
been in a bit of a creative slump w my solo stuff (maybe cause i joined a band), but i really like what i'm working on rn. one more verse to write and it's done
also, i dig this. reminds me of jpegmafia mixed with bones, goes hard as fuck. the one scream sample that occurs after the foreign language interlude is mixed too high imo, it's too abrasive, but this is a really solid beat

being productive isn't always important. as long as you're proud of your work, it's all good.
and yeah, that scream is really loud. I tried to make it as loud as possible without it crushing the whole mix, so that was intentional. thx for the kind words btw

Do you actually do drugs tho? You seem like the type of user that reps psychedelia but hasn't had a bad acid trip before. Tell me you know I'm 100% right.
I bet you really wanna collaborate huh? Yup I'm pretty smart like that.
The problem I have with 99%
of "musicians" who sample
other people's work is LONGG.
The big thing is with these digital
sound sampling devices, back
in the day my sh!t was ANALOG
bro, do you even know what
analog means? Whatever,
anyway these digital systems
are, we are told, music mimics
par excellence, able to render
the whole orchestral panoply,
plus all that grunts, or squeaks.
The noun "sample" is, in our
comodified culture,pre-fixed by
the adjective free, FREE. as
in STEALING. So now you're
lying about being an artist and
if one is to consider predicating
this subject, perhaps some
thinking aloud on what is not
allowable auditory appropriation
is to be heard.
Some of you, current and potential
samplerists are confused, I KNOW
you're confused, and it's about
the extent to which you can
legally borrow from the ingredients
of other people's sonic
manifestations. Is a musical
property properly private, and
when and how does one trespass
upon it? Like myself, you may covet
something similar to a particular
chord played and recorded
singularly well by the strings of
the estimable Eastman Rochester
Orchestra on a long-deleted
Mercury Living Presence LP
of Charles Ives' Symphony #3
and you're thinking "Oh no,
welp here's another song down
the DRAIN"!
Do what I told you to do in the other thread.
nice It's pretty g-- coof coof
Do what ya gotta do is what I say.

i started watching daria just because i kept seeing your picture here and i like it quite a lot, song is cool
tracy and kray did this kind of stuff way better so it doesn't give me a reason to really return to this, i think the aesthetic outshines everything else
def sounds too busy, those bells are really distracting so i think the beat would be way cooler without them

Fell free to hit me up on sc for production advice.
i cant even fuck with any non anonymous social media without getting anxiety. i feel your networking pain. pretty sure an active twitter and Instagram are basically a necessity. glad you dug the production and stuff, never completely confident in my melodies and shit myself so fair enough
i used to "sell" acid in highschool. was so hyped on the importance of the shit that i just used my hookups to spread the 3 euro tabs. had a bad trip eventually though and now i struggle to smoke weed. ket is the new spirit guide but still got some 2cb and 4fmp in front of me that might happen tonight since it didnt yesterday. the shit goes as deep as your schizophrenia

The song Weak Eyes goesssssssss gj. I followed.
Rec this. Kinda stressful, but very of the moment lol.
I live in Chicago and ppl would definitely fuck w/ this.
It’s just the style I was going after. I have other songs with are mostly Extreme oriented, and others involving dual rectifiers and creepy sounds but that’s with my band.
Ty for ur input tho :>
curious what you get out of the schizo powers. a bit bummed that ive probably passed the point for schizophrenia to engulf me into a weirder world
Bro seriously stop dryposting. But whatever, you wanna know the important part? Ok, here's what you really need to know. Bass is integral to music. It's is the true backbone to all music. Drums/Beats are ONLY rhythm, and guitars/synths etc are ONLY melody. But bass? Bass is BOTH. That's why bass makes or breaks a song. So when in doubt BOOST it out!
Well, I'm fully aware that the reality we're in isn't an actual "base reality". At best the singular consciousness created a sound that vibrates to create the lower dimensions. We're on a Prison Planet and if we aren't light at heart in the face of the true horrors of life we can't acend to higher dimensions and eventually back to the singular consciousness God-Head.
The funny thing is this is ON TOPIC because basically god made a song and the vibrations of that song are what's making up this reality. (see string theory and the emerald tables)
Polyrhythms are more important than you beginner producers think. You think"duhh Im st00pid so I du kick one 1 and snare on da 3, yay!" But that's pathetic. Man up and experiment with legitimate beats and rhythms. You should learn about Complex Flow. It's an important aspect to enjoyable beats. Once you man up and start trying to create something great instead of something that will go "viral" (which NEVER do, if that's what you aim for... HA!) But whatever, I can rant to you all day and you'll still be making generic beats.

I make all this music on analog drum machines and real instruments. You're saying that I'm making basic music, but that's a basic mentality. The aim isn't always to make the most complicated beat, otherwise we would all listen to cyber-grind or someshit. It makes me happy that really basic people don't like it desu. Also your music and aesthetic is laughable. Good luck with that.

Man the dude is obviously a troll. The most shocking part is how committed he is to the role, I mean imagine how much time it takes to create that many tracks just to play this edgy character. I see him in every single SC thread so I feel like this is the only thing he does all day.
Hi, I wanna make music for video games.

You should really consider making a song at least 100bpm faster bro.
I bet you really wanna collaborate huh?
Cool. I've made easy beats too, they're fun to whip up. It's funny how you're intimidated by my aesthetic and personality LOL.
Everyone's obsessed with me being a troll, but I have fun and I have fun being me!
>I feel like this is the only thing he does all day.
Nope. I just got cut on glass outside lol I just kinda do things. I just wander into these threads and drop truth bums! D-J-Du-BEE d-d-dubbi.
Add more little almost unnoticeable aspects to the sound design bro, it'll really enhance your production!
Dogs don't drypost

I think you could definitely go down the noise rabbit hole much deeper! Don't be afraid of your own genre bro! Keep going, take it to the edge and then jump to a whole new level of crazy. Music progression is endless!
Why are anons just learning about trapmetal now? It's 2020, not 2015.
I think you should add 3 more layers of hi hats.
Nothing's wrong with me bub. You got some issues tho?? You say the same stuff every day I'm sure

Try making more complicated beats. Don't think in 4/4. Think of it as 16/16 desu.
