Either ambient or noise.

Crywank isn't a sad album. It's the greatest comedy album ever written; a perfect, extremely-over-the-top parody of sad music.

I don't. I listen to music to be uplifted not to wallow in self-masturbatory crywank.

I get nostalgic to listening to this song, and want my ex back

Nothing. Everything that interested me before a depression episode goes down the drain.
However, when I feel down I listen to upbeat stuff, but mostly try to stay active outside. Used to do the opposite, lock myself and listen to "depressive" songs, but apparently it made everything worse.

if you find comfort in crywank then you deserve to be depressed

ambient, glitch, drone, ethereal wave and some noisey stuff. i've been listening to these genres (mostly) for the past 2 years, should i be worried?

based, I honestly think that the people who do this are mostly sad and not exactly depressed

good shit, this one's mine

I met a girl. We became good friends but it felt like it was growing into something more. I was falling for her. Then she died, mere days ago.

What should I listen to? I've been drinking whiskey and trying to distract myself all week

Hospice by the Antlers. Whole album go.

my condolences user stay strong bro

listening to sad music won't distract you it'll only amplify and concentrate your thoughts

youtu.be/ayiJa0q4Mew

even if this is fake, start smoking weed instead

also listen to this

youtu.be/N_SnNVDHlOs

Will give it a whirl, thanks.

Thanks user. It's just devastating, especially with her being younger than me. Really thought I could have had a future with her

True, but that could be good. Perhaps a big emotional outburst will help me with the grieving

I listen to this track youtube.com/watch?v=6X1URP5eg6I

And then follow it up with this one youtube.com/watch?v=JIitQNXVgb8

What a goddamn behemoth

>Hospice
I fucking love Hospice, idc what Yas Forums says. I'm such a sucker for a good concept record

>weed

Why? I'm a pills & acid guy

>True, but that could be good. Perhaps a big emotional outburst will help me with the grieving
Yes I think this is better than trying to distract yourself. I'd also say Hospice is the way to go.

personally i don't know anyone that's ever felt genuinely better after a drinking binge.

i think acid would fuck you up beyond belief with something this heavy on your mind, but it could be beneficial to take the trauma head on.

Not as cringe as unironically listening to crywank
