first for Judas Priest being based
Someone once told me /metal/ is a flat circle. everything that we ever posted and will post we’re gonna post over and over again.
And that little bongman and that little tourist poster is gonna be in that thread again. And again. And again.
Forever.
I just saw Slave to the grind. Anyone here seen it?
Why should I post in Yas Forums? Fuck, I don’t want to listen to anything anymore. This is a thread where nothing is discussed.
You post in Yas Forums because you like messing with people. Don't ever try to have a valid discussion here, it's futile.
Why is it futile?
I told myself i’d bear witness. Plus I lack the constitution for shitposting
>OMG RIFFS!
Based
That’s a one based Skid Row song. I got to see Sebastian sing it half a year ago. I’d recommend seeing him if you like Skid row, his voice is still great, unlike Vince Neil.
This thread is like someone’s memory of a thread, and that memory is fading. It’s like there was never anything here but tourists
>This thread is like someone’s memory of a thread, and that memory is fading
Sounds like the plot of a Murakami book
Grind is for fags
People just come here to state opinions without giving a legitimate reason for what they think. If you disagree they will just call you names.
This guy didn't state why he thinks riffs are unimportant. He just used a stupid pictured to state his stupid opinion.
Nobody is talking about why Judas Priest is based. The statements carries no more weight than if they said the contrary. No discussion ever happens here. So have fun and state stupid opinions and try to bait people into replying.
how go you go from this

to this?

Your statement is irrefutable.
You got a shadow in you, son
Drink and drive, I drink and drive
Got mothers against me I'm still alive
Drink and drive, I drink and drive
Got mothers against me I'm still alive
I just had this song in my head a moment ago.
At least Mille can sing now compared to the 80's.
Not a great loss for thrash.
>bait people into replying
Well, you replied, so cool I guess.
You win buddy.
I don’t listen. I just hear.
If it doesn't riff, what's the point?
I'd smash the little one.
>Phoneposter
What is the point of riffs?
>when the song ends like a train wreck because the band can barely play their own material
How many times do you need to listen to something? I could listen to 100 new albums and throw a parade for not being a tourist, but it would profit me nothing because that stuff needs repeat listens to digest properly. I listened to Jungle Rot and so what? Do I just check that box and move on to something else? I'm not interested in listening to as much as I possibly can, I want a set of favorites that I listen to because I truly love them.
To create a cornerstone for the rest of the song to stand on.
Gorenoise recs? Serious question
>doesn't into guitar enough to actually riff himself
Is /metal/ anticipating the Igorrr release tomorrow?
Riffs aren't just the cornerstone, they are the entire structure. All else is furnishing.
Last Days of Humanity - Putrefaction in Progress
Which begs the question: If it doesn't riff, what's the point?
>soiman image
>contradictory statement, possibly about literally anything
Take that, guise. Now you know that I am the superior being here.
Even if it riffs it's pointless.
To start-stop-start-stop weedly doo like most tech death
Not a bad rec but it's also the most famous gorenoise album.
How familiar are you (assuming you were the one asking for recs) with the genre?
If it doesn't riff it's just indie rock with extra distortion.
>tfw no Hep C qt pie metal alt chick
Not extremely familiar but I've listened to a few bands - LDOH, Phyllomedusa, Formicidae, and Royal Jelly.
>Riffs are needed for good meta-
jerk off before you post
Meatal Ulcer - Why Won't It Die ?
And I don't wanna see no basedletterposter
The amount of butt-hurt Seth Putnam still unleashes on the Söy is hilarious.
>singer for Drop Dead says violence is wrong or some sissy shit after the end of their set
>Seth comes out and calls him a faggot
>Drop Dead singer runs back on stage and attacks Seth
lol I miss this nigga like you wouldn't believe.
except that's a post-rock album
they both sound like absolute faggots
>noooooooooo you can't just post Agalloch, it's not kvlt enough to be on my Brazilian Blogspot page
>black metal is about eerie song names, not substance
Says the faggot.
>wins
>I just want to walk around in the woods and feel depressed.
>So substantive
>noooooooooo you can't just post Agalloch, it's not kvlt enough to be on my Brazilian Blogspot page
>black metal is about eerie song names, not substance
yep
>he keeps an excel sheet filled with obscure death and black metal
>doesn't actually remember individual songs nor entire albums
>spergs out on Metal Archives, /metal/, and shreddit
cringe
Agalloch isn't metal in the first place; let alone any music of "substance."
