I bought all the Candy Claws rarities and one-offs I could find and uploaded them.
Tracks: >Alp Shades >Alp Sway Snow Team >Do You Ever Feel That Way? (Starflyer 59 cover) >Everything Everywhere (as Magnificent Space Whales Forever) >Five Hands Of The Ice Queen >Leaellynasaura (alternate mix of Birth of the Flower) >Pony Rides (alternate mix of Lantern Fish) >Snow Face >Solar Mirror Anthology Vol. 6 (as Sound of Ceres) >Solar Shaded (Dreams of Austria) >Verana Summers
I think these albums/tracks all have a bit of a triphop sound to them, so give them a try! I'm sure you've heard Massive Attack, but if you haven't definitely go there as well.
this chart is old as hell, so not 100% sure. I think the grouped albums are ones that sound pretty similar to each other, so if you like one you'd probably like the others.
youtube.com/watch?v=bHwfjCleIEM Is this dream pop? This brazilian band existed for a short period of time before splitting but I enjoy their one album.
Easton Foster
I love the first song but everything after is forgettable
Just shilling my list of Shoegaze/Dream Pop/Noise Pop things I've listened to from this year (all releases have a link to the artist's bandcamp so you can listen and support them).
I'd also like to remind you that the Best Shoegaze/Dream Pop EP of the 2010's was released by an obscure band from the Philipines
gonna have a look at the list later user describe their EP for me unrelated but Clinging to a Scheme and Bloom are in my Top 5 dream pop albums of the 10's, though they're well known I swear by both of these albums. I don't even like other beach house albums aside from DC
Ryan Wood
I need to get on the 2020 shugazi train. what was your favorite out of your list so far?
youtube.com/watch?v=mvWzgi7JxTQ Here's a newer band that's somewhere between the Slowdive and MBV sound, DEFINITELY recommend this album to anyone interested in the genre
I wouldn't say shoegaze, but he sort of touches on dream pop here and there. More leaning towards jangle pop, but there's a lot of dream/jangle pop crossover artists out there.
