at least around section 80 and gkmc they did idk about now
The black ones that drink söylent and wear glasses with a stubble beard? Yeah those kinds.
Only upper-middle class, college-aged, "woke" black people that spend all day on twitter listen to his shit
For a board that predominantly features white people you guys are oddly obsessed with what black people listen to.
What's wrong with being curious about what the brothas are listening to?
This whole website is obsessed with blacks. They don't even make up much of the US population.
They don't. That's how you know he's actually good, black people don't know what good music sounds like so when white people like something made by black people it means it's actually good. Black people will laugh at you when you like shit like Madvillain, Kendrick, Danny Brown etc. because its unironically too complex for them and they would rather have the genre stagnate with garbage like trap with zero lyrical quality instead of music that pushes the genre forward like TPAB, Some Rap Songs, etc... Basically any sort of complexity and ambition is considered "white" and ridiculed.
>kendrick
>danny brown
>eat pussy like cool ranch doritos
>this dick aint free
>too complex
Nice cherrypicking, you tard
"woke" niggas do but hood niggas don't
So many white people listen to trap as well...
why the fuck would black kings listen to headass overly conscious "rappers" like kendrick when they could listen to actual artists like pic related?
Adding onto this, why can't Kendrick release a music video a week that gets 10+ million views each by the end of the month? Youngboy can. Youngboy been doing it the last two years while Kendrick probably still living out his granny house.
youtube.com
Rappers like kendrick don't make music for the people. Kendrick Lamar makes music for balding men who don't go outside, not because they're "social distancing" in these corona times, but because they don't have friends. That and they might get sunburned.
Why tf his voice so puny
It seems to be a voice he does, for some reason. He has songs where he sounds normal.
>tfw the greatest beat he's ever rapped over is for his politically and ideologically most awful and intolerable song
goddamn it, why couldn't he have used it for a great song instead....
i pretend to be black on the internet and i don't listen to him. i don't even know who he is.
Imagine unironically believing this
>2020
>not knowing who Kendrick is
What the fuck?
is that what kendrick lamar looks like? lol heard his shit, know his name, never seen a picture of him i guess.
oh, nigga. i am black.

>Some rap songs
>Complex
>invented jazz
>invented southern/mid-western music genres like ragtime and blues
>invented rock and roll
>invented Soul/funk
>pioneered techno
I'm pretty sure black people have good music taste. They just listen to the genres listed above rather than hip-hop. Some friends of mine who are black hate hip-hop a lot and I wouldn't blame them.
There's a dirty little secret in the black community.
>They all listen to kpop
>hip hop of any kind
>complex
stopped reading right here
Is he done or something? He hasn't put anything out since the trash tier capeshit album
nah he's apparently releasing an album this year
he said it has a rock influence in it or something
not a big fan of him but i still hope to god it's better than everything he's done since tpab
The average ghetto nig listens to the most ignorant shit possible. The dumber the better, so no
white people are the biggest perpetrators of garbage trap music.
>They just listen to the genres listed above rather than hip-hop
no they fucking don’t.
I’m sure some random cherrypicked black nerd does, but niggas in the hood don’t listen to jazz. they blast trap music on every block while they slang drugs.
trust me, I’ve been to some of the deepest hoods on the east coast and I’ve never once heard a boombox blasting the blues.
this is true. they will laugh and call you corny if you were to ask them if they like any one of those rappers, let alone even whiter shit like Peggy. they’ve never even heard of him before and if they have they think “das some corny ass whiteboi shit”
dis nigga black say word
Are you counting Untilted Unmastered as work since TPaB? Because UU is is better than TPaB.
I FEEL LIKE IM GUCCI MANE IN 2006
Yes, UU is basically just the extended version of TPAB.
he's 5’6
Kendrick Lamar hurts race relations prove me wrong
It's a shame really. GKMC was an actually thoughtful and mature look at how bad and regressive gang violence and culture is, but then with TPAB he just does a 180 and instead focuses on "muh police brutality" and "muh racist white people"! Never been more disappointed in an artist regressing in their themes.
I honestly thought that regression came more in DAMN. He even dissed Obama and democrats in TPaB blaming them also for the state of the hood. It had some police brutality in it of course, it also had messages of gang violence and black & black violence is something that needs to stop and it's hard to progress while that is going on. Maybe I misread, but I took part of the album even saying stop giving the word nigger so much power. Then DAMN comes out and it's orange man bad and white people can't say nigga.
True. His icon as a woke activist went to his head sometime in 2017.
No black people listen to "da baby" and other similar garbage
The fact that we actually have discussions like "do black people listen to black artists" is just fucking hilarious and fucked up
That's how cucked whites have gotten.
youtube.com
That motherfucker literally stopped a white girl, his fucking fan who memorized his fucking song, because she said THE N WORD. The magic world
And that overwhelmingly white crowd is booing her. This is the state of white people in 2020. I can just imagine black people laughing at this. I mean this is fucking peak comedy.
unironically based, fuck white people
Do (actual non-Uncle Tom) black people listen to Tyler the Creator?
does noname really not know that its mostly white people and "artsy" college black kids who listen to her music
> Cum whiter than a Peggy, Earl headlined concert
;_; if only I could deliver this coup de grâce
not anymore, mexicans do though
> the brainlet
DAMN is the obvious progression in his ongoing struggle with racial identity. It’s ambivalence while flirting with racial supremacy/solidarity. People understate the whole black Israelite stuff, but that’s the crux of the album: self-hatred this pushes one to an extreme ideology that “others” society while providing a simple framework make sense of things. Damn is just an existential racial/self-hatred polemic, an extension of his identity crisis: the urge to want to lash out, DNA; passivity and sedation, Lust; his own hypocrisy, XXX; the serendipity of his own position and his guilt; Duckworth. Fuck Love and Humble tho.
>ongoing struggle with racial identity
Kendrick is very notably black with 2 very black parents what do you mean "struggle with racial identity" i think you misunderstood the entire point of DAMN
nah tyler is white hipster shit
Tyler appeals to people who watch Adult Swim
adult swim has come through with some good shows over the years
I agree
Tyler fits well with the whole vibe though. He even had his own show
Don't misunderstand, I enjoy DAMN, I even enjoy Love on it's own as a sappy hip hop love song. It's not as good as GKMC or TPaB, I would even say it isn't as good as UU, but I still enjoyed it. I just think he did go a bit more to "woke" attitude on it with some ideas, and I do think his little shun the girl for saying nigga in his song thing kind of went back on prior ideas, though once again I could be misunderstanding what he was saying on TPaB, it may have more been something for his fellow black people.
And of course I should add, people can and are allowed to change, and maybe KDot did with his experiences between post-fame and the writing/recording of DAMN. I just found it different than before.
Haha wow that's a singer!
youngboy has some bangers legit
my black friends do
he is invited to the barbeque
he doesn't give me an adult swim vibe, more like gay college kid who listens to altRnB and dreampop
your post is like total maybe 5-6 white guys who actually look like that
He is pretty autistic about music actually, listens to a lot of weird shit. Actually wonder if he posts here now
kek, surprised how true this is
>black
>people
uhhhhmm sweety....
Lmao all these white people on this thread are embarrassing themselves badly. Black people do listen to him but since he in hiatus so no one is really listening right now. He is the 2pac of this generation.
because these white people want to be black, so they ridicule other whites in an attempt to prove themselves to black people
