it's arched, needs to be flat on the 2 strings make sure they aren't muted then put the 3 fingers of the chord and lastly put the "thumb", but really it's going to be the fingerbone near the base of the thumb that's going to do the work. Your palm must be glued to the neck too
in short you need to adjust the angle of your whole hand by lifting the wrist towars you
