The song is very meaningful to me, user. Ever since I heard it, I had dreams about taking a big sledgehammer and cracking open the skull of this girl. I was obsessed with her and felt this strange connection, not love or infatuation nor hatred or distaste. Just, connection. And I felt it was a prophecy, that someday we would be together, alone at night in an office building, and I'd go out back to get the hammer and come back and see her crumple up into the corner as the hammer goes down. This was in middle school and it has been nearly 20 years since then and she lives far away in Mexico now so I doubt it will ever be fulfilled. I wonder though if this is why my life has fallen apart: the fact that I never followed my destiny. Or perhaps the fates have deemed her life more worthy. I will never know. The song still brings back powerful memories and I'll never forget it. That's my blog, hope you enjoyed it, user, like, comment, and subscribe!
