soundcloud.com/user-726305136/sets/shalvah This is the fourth set by De Blimp, Shalvah. Any feedback is appreciated. It is meant to be experienced as a whole. If you just want to give feedback on some tracks, we recommend Big Toad Pt. 2, Empty Sky, Autistic Sperg and High Power. >lo-fi >alternative >collage >outsider schizo music >compilation Cool beat, a lot of the songs on Shalvah were recorded in an hour or two. Cool atmosphere, do you listen to Robert Rich? Reminds us a bit of Stalker.
don't listen to much ambient actually i just like making it . I listened to a bit of Stalker since you recommended it and i'll give it a shot sounds interesting
sick video man, the song is pretty cool too, it's the type of song I'd listen to while getting high with friends. that guitar riff near the end is really great, reminds me a bit of radiohead
hear soulful and it's pretty good my man, those vocal samples really remind of clams casino but the insturmental is groovy and so danceable.
I'm not a trap fan but for some reason I really liked this, I think maybe because of the distortion.
>Glitch >Neuro >Psytrance Just uploaded a track, come check it out and rag on it. I'm now spending my night sussing out the other links in this thread. Enjoy
Oliver Cooper
this shit is kinda unfair, like everything here seems a lot worse now that i've listened to this. Did you do the mix and master yourself or did you outsource it to someone?
Jonathan Ross
this is so fucking funky man. great production. you guys are really making us look bad
great texture thru the entire song. its definitely a rare feel
this needs to be in a horror game or movie. great work man
this is really good. 808 is just distorted enough without being shit. great work for an hour man
youtu.be/2pDkbkSTDsA >meme raps >anthony fagtano diss and critics and thots in general and simps >gamer bath water >edgy raps I mean need I say more? by the thumbnail alone bro you know this shit is gonna be based.

listened to Oasis. love all the melodies. what brings this track to the next level though is how you implemented all the vocals--love that shit. liked and followed (:
listened to empty sky. i think the instrumentation on this is solid, but the vocals sound off to me.
teenage beat maker, just dropped a new tape. tried to go for more of a plunderphonic/cloud rap sound with this one. I worked super hard on it, i'd really appreciate it if you gave it a listen.
Appreciate the kind words fellas. We've been running out of our cracked version of Ableton 9, and record mix and master everything ourselves. Don't forget to check back for our new tune this weekend! :)
Same guy, forgot to post stuff about the dudes I listened to Fucking love the energy in your stuff, it sounds awesome The video looks cool, and the person singing sounds like he's being murdered, I love it
I make the best fucking edm you've ever heard. Fuck dubbi, fuck all your trap hip hop bullshit I tear it all apart. I'll gangbang your chill lofi tracks single handedly. Yeah, your indie folk acoustic stuff? Burned in my fire bruh. That metal ep you've just finished? Fuckin garbage bro listen to my track to get a sense of the shadow you're all going to be living in. Mark my words this is the future of the music industry just be glad you got to hear it first here on Yas Forums.
Your stuff is actually pretty good. I'd suggest finding a better way to record your guitars. The electronic stuff sounds way too crisp and nice to fit in with your guitar stuff and i feel like if you're doing a direct in sort of thing then a decent amp sim would benefit you alot.
Jackson Murphy
thanks, i was using Le456 amp sim. need to find a good tone for more heavy stuff, my 7 string is itching for it. also prob need to learn how to use the sims better, but as the name suggests i am an idiot
May I suggest neural dsp? I'm using the archetype nolly right now but they just came out with that abassi goodness and the more demos I see the more I want it.
Eli Gray
sadly i am a poorfag. have to run with free shit also am thinking of just buying a metal zone or something get mad chugs with that, think itll work?
I've kind of left my pedals behind since I learned how to automate my sims live. Honestly buying a decent amp sim is a better bang for your buck, this way you dont need pedals or even an amp head live. Just a decent speaker to pump out whatever sound you have on your laptop and as long as your latency is under control should be sex. Or if youre really into pedals id suggest a midi channel switcher (i think thats what theyre called) and you can switch amps and pedals on your DAW with your foot. The one I mentioned is 100 bucks which comes with delay, distortion, reverb, eq, like 4 or 5 amps to choose from and the ability to change microphone placement microphones ect. Compared to the 150 to 300 for decent pedals. Look into it on youtube man I genuinely think this route will benefit you the most.
