The sum of the album is greater than its individual parts, some songs are easier to graze mindlessly over than others but it goes to so many highs and lows that demand to be appreciated

It's a pretty weird pop album, but ultimately still a pop album. Just listen to it until you hear the pop melodies under the thick production.
