It was kind of ok. Jon Schafer hasn't written an inspired riff in over fifteen years. Hansi can still make decent vocal melodies, but neither of them is making strong enough music to make it worth it for both of them to work togehter.

Now that I think of it, I haven't seen This Godless Endeavor on here. Shame, because it's great.

Grateful Dead would've disappeared into the void as the bland jam rock group with unnecessarily long tracks that they were if they never smuggled all that LSD to all their concerts.

simple, elegant, wholesome

Post your fav meal band/artist photos ITT

The other Nevermore material is excellent too, but it was more calm and melodic. On the other hand, TGE is one of the tightest prog thrash albums ever made.

Cringe hot take but okay

Cringe but 100% correct.

In The Nightside Eclipse is not sóy metal. its true stuff. at least for us black metal nigers in south america.

sperg all you want, Owsley Stanely and the grateful dead revolutionized the sound of live music. before they came along if you went to a show you wouldn't be able to tell what song was being played because it was all being pumped through a shitty PA system for a basketball announcer or some shit.

my dad went to over 100 dead shows, I'm not particularly into them but there's a live recording they did with the Beach Boys that I'm fascinated with. Brian Wilson was touring with one of the first moog synthesizers at the time and it was like the size of a fucking truck. They're all fucked out of their minds and spend way too long tuning between songs but the fidelity is surprisingly nice for a concert from 1971.

On Friday band amp is waving their cut of whatever you pay to a band to make sure artists make money even if they're not touring. What are some bands who sell their material on band camp and are not easily available through other sources (Spotify, physical media, etc). Currently I Intend on getting some Timeghoul.

Don't mind me, just making a glorious comeback while 99% of 80s thrash bands were still horribly flailing around and had yet to make an attempt at being great again.
