its not that bad. the first step is to realize you wont stop the virus: the question isnt "if" youll be infected, the question is "when". this will only really threaten the lives of elderly anyway who will require hospitalization. the quarantines job is to slow down the virus so that hospitals dont get overloaded: a large percentage of death cases are because infected could get proper hospital care due to overload. almost everyone will be infected eventually, its just that being infected isnt exactly a terrible fate, or even a dangerous one. the problem is when everyone is infected at once.
