Any musicians here stuck in self-isolation wanting to have a little fun?
I wanted to play a game of musical telephone, where I'll record a really simple beat of just bass and drums, then send it to another musician who will add an element to it, and then send it to another musician who will add a layer on top, and this will keep going until we have a completed song. Depending on how long we're all stuck inside, we could come up with a decent amount of material. Anyone interested?

I added a rap verse from a generator website over the original beat. If anyone feels like adding some kind of synth arpeggio to that part, I think it would fit well.

This track could end up being an albums worth of variations on the original beat if this reaches the bump limit. That would be cool.
We should try making a whole album like this, would be fun. Kinda like the Yas Forums makes an album threads but we all contribute to each track instead of just individually making a track each.

I can't isolate the tracks as they vary a bit in BPM :c I was going to try to add some echoes to the samples. I'll just add some instrumental contribution

OP here, another beat incoming! If anyone is familiar with Serial Experiments Lain, you might be interested to know that a lot of the samples are taken from there. The pedal chords are sampled from the hum of the powerlines, and all of the glitchy samples are taken from the intro. Thought it was a fitting anime to work with since its all about losing your sense of self while being locked inside on your computer.
I call it "Serial Experiments Lain (Perpetually) In Bed". BPM is 109. Have fun!
