Disagree. I think that the album is consistently great throughout.

I saw him last week in Leeds and he mostly played a bunch of obscure songs. I get that he does what he wants et cetera, but you'd think he'd try and throw in a few more crowd pleasers.

Morrisseys career success is defined by subverting expectations. Also if he's gon a be such a hardline dick with all his views he damn well better at least still perform his music with integrity too, which means playing what he wants to play. Plus can you imagine how terribly boring it would be to sing Never Had Nobody Ever night after night after night?

You pay to see him perform, you can already hear all his songs on the albums, you're paying to go see Morrissey perform music and all that may entail

It's probably his best since Ringleaders and Tormentors and a step in the right direction but it lacks that wonderful atmosphere his older stuff had.

Very pleasantly surprised honestly. Didn't think much of the couple of singles I heard but in the context of the album they're great. His best in a decade.

how can people listen to this? I know people change with age but his vocals are terrible. He even sounded a lot better on World Peace Is None of Your Business.

He sounds good for 60, the autotune is noticeable and kind of distracting on some tracks though
