Code Orange is poser bullshit.

awww did you get picked on in highschool for liking mall metal so now you hate on other shit that's popular? neck yourself pleb.

Seems you're projecting hard my guy.

not really. I don't even listen to much metal lately but this album is great. you should think outside of your ego. calling shit poser doesn't give you any more hxc points.

Please send me your contact info user, we could start a movie theather with all your projecting.

they're literally a joke in hardcore, or whatever it is they're doing now.

t. actual poser

and I could start a waste business responding to all your shit, faggot. you and your jokes are stale.

i don't fucking care. the hxc scene is lame as fuck.

They're legit, they just turned into nu-metal at some point. People in "the scene" still like them though, it's not posers.
I'm gonna go listen to this record now and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like it much. Because once you start writing WWE entrance theme music it's pretty much over.

kek whatever you say. I would say you'd change your mind after listening but you'd double down on your preconceived notion just to shit on it on the tranny board.

This sounds like Fear Factory. Not even decent mid-90s Fear Factory but washed up mid-00s Fear Factory.

beta male allows others to dictate his opinions, congrats faggot

you replied to the post you obviously missed.

HARDCORE IS FOR FAGGOTS

This is a known thing, cope and seethe.
I'm not the one listening to Code Orange. No one who actually likes hardcore and metal, does not like Code Orange. They're sell outs, posers for posers.

*spins wheel on short list of industrial bands you know to compare this to*

that's okay. more for me. go listen to throbbing gristle or something, this is not for you.

Imagine making yourself listen to poser garbage.

I saw Slogun live in the late 90s, Grunt on his only US tour and Prurient on the 2004 tour with Kites and Hair Police. My first show was Ministry on the Sphinctour. Eat my shit.

imagine arguing for hxc street points on the tranny board.

*does slow google search to prove someone who doesn't care wrong*

Well, I'm not listening to poser garbage.

Eat it.

this song is pretty good but i listened to one of the other singles from this album and it was like weird shitty alternative rock

what percentage of this album has songs like that? if it is low then i will listen to this

truth be told it's normally posers that go around policing others tastes and calling them posers. please go get some sunlight and stop smoking all of your moms cigarettes, she's stressed out right now.

I liked their two last albums alright, just everything I've heard from this has been pretty fucking bad. If anything really low expectations should be to my benefit.

They could headline any hardcore "fest" tomorrow and people would go apeshit. They could play some hardcore club or house show and people would go apeshit. Sell outs? Probably, since they're a Roadrunner nu-metal band that does WWE themes. But they're not posers, and the list of actual hardcore bands that love them is never-ending. They're in that same category as a band like Vein, which I also predict will go hilariously NU on whatever they come out with next.

This is just Numetal except "Abrasive" so it appeals to autists like Fantano

the whole album is pretty heavy with a few toned down moments. I liked the singles but they translate much better in the context of the album.

My moms smokes the best cigs, but she doesn't listen to Code Orange like a fucking poser.

checked and kek'd but you're still a faggot

Hahaahhaha, you're so fucking delusional.

Yas Forumstt's law referencing fandangle outside of his containment threads.

Why do people fucking care about being called posers lmfao just listen to the music my nigga

it's not so much that I care about being called a poser. it's just cringe as fuck.

Only posers care about being posers, this wouldn't be an issue if OP didn't listen to FAGGOT CODE ORANGE

what do you listen to?

I listen to field recordings of senior citizens taking a shit. Which is better than Code Orange.

you've got the whole squad laughing

Nope, I'm 100% right. They've been around for over a decade and have toured and played shows with everyone. I don't care if you don't like them, I barely like them, but your retarded idea that
>hurr durr no one actually into hardcore likes Code Orange
is complete bullshit when they've been "backed hard" by everyone since the late 00's.

It's funny how this user thinks that anybody gives a fuck if called a poser.

>(any band/artist) Forever
cringe

it's a quote from one of their songs pleb

Poser bullshit. You fuckign poser.
user cares and its funny, he's a poser

even worse

They had a good thing going
They abandoned it with the random spooky sounds and silly shit in this album
How cool is it that theyre able to pause multiple times in a song
I thought dubstep shit the bed forever ago but here we are

This thread is cancer. The album is great though.

Hello, Code Orange anons. I'm not the biggest metal fan, and I've never heard of this band before, but I decided to look them up out of curiosity. This album felt very mediocre, imo. I listened to "I am King", and was very impressed. I don't believe I've ever listened to anything from the hardcore punk/metal genre, so it was interesting to hear. I think the difference between that album and this new one is huge. The band members are clearly skilled, but the overuse of effects made the whole thing sound obnoxious. user pretty much sums up my thoughts with his previous post >they sound like fear factory.

The industrial sound they tried to integrate really fell flat. Not a terrible album, but not great either.

The people who hate this album... are just filtered. As a metalhead and also a fan of electronic typa shit, this wasn't bad desu. It may not be groundbreaking, but hell it's at least pretty enjoyable. I hate this place because most people take music seriously and always try to be based as possible. Anyways, I like it.

>I hate this place because most people take music seriously and always try to be based as possible.

What do you mean?

People show off their big elitism dick and always think this band is better than this other band so your taste is shit. I'm quite the newfag, but it's true.

Based

you've got it correct my friend. I Am King is a solid album and a good way to get into modern Hardcore. I'd recommend you to check out other very popular Hardcore bands, like Knocked Loose, Vein, Harms Way and Jesus Piece. they are similar but have their own unique sound

also listen to Converge - Jane Doe if you want to know how this "Metalcore" thing all began

>filtered
Nope. But you're right that it's not that bad, it still has some really vicious bullshit on it. Yes, some altbuttrock too, but for the most part it's nothing worse than Bleeding in the Blur from their last album.

>The band members are clearly skilled
That's something I don't agree with. They can write some breakdowns but everything else is so non-riff and soaked in effects it just sounds corny. At least this time they don't have any mosh calls on the actual record.

>listen to Converge - Jane Doe if you want to know how this "Metalcore" thing all began
2020 can't tell what Yas Forums is but I'm gonna call it trolling anyway.

Thank you very much, user. I will check those bands out.

The whole band is full of elitist, narcissistic, holier than thou, tryhards. That's why their off putting to people, a good power violence band that went down hill the second they changed their name and started shitting on bands they toured with.

Welcome to hardcore. If you think Code Orange are assholes with shitty attitudes wait until you discover bands that don't just have "fuck you!!!!!" as an image.

I'm not a huge fan of this band, but they make both metalhead faggots and hardcore faggots seethe, so they're pretty based in my book

I've been a fan of hardcore for over most of my life. I get it, you aren't telling me shit I don't know. This band has a crazy amount of ego they don't really deserve. Most real hardcore fans, and people who are actually in the scene see them as a joke.

>poser
>the scene
>real hardcore
>sellouts

Welcome to hardcore.

I don't know what music you actually listen to but if anger, ego, narcissism, bold claims, douche lyrics and posturing unironically trigger you then it's probably not hardcore.
Here's a band on the other side of the spectrum that hates you as well.
youtube.com/watch?v=8LHitozYZlI

I've never seen such tryhard bullshit in my life, just admit that they're a joke now to fans of hardcore and metal. You're trying way too hard.
