The cresdendo-y stuff is one of those things that's not exactly atrocious but just not a style that I ever, ever want to listen to. But I do cringe at its corny seriousness building up to EPIC crescendos. It's similar to the tastes of gamer dorks who like digital paintings of EPIC fantasy scenes.... like a lone badass facing down an EPIC vista, whoa.
